The Wizard

Kurtz -

Things are looking up for our little expedition! First, I managed to sidestep this little trap:

Close call! Thanks for the warning, Fair Trader Joe, wherever you are!

Second,  I knew we were due for a breakthrough in our search for the Kurtz clan. Today it came. As I descended from the gentle chaparral on my morning 18-speed scouting into the wilds of Sherwood, I found a wizard.

"I've been expecting you..."

He warmly welcomed me as a familiar and an equal. My frustrations at the journey spilled easily to his ready ears. He heard me and imparted such wisdom as I have not heard since...Kurtz himself. I cannot relate but the tiniest portion of what he shared, though I will inform you that he has instructed me in the construction of a new conveyance that will change our pursuit of the mysterious Kurtz forever. These pictures should give you the idea. 

You can fill in the gaps. By land, by sea, by air, we are coming. The wizard remained behind though, stoic and inscrutable by nature, yet yielding and expansive to those wayward journeyman who avail themselves of his hospitality.
